"The Flight of the Jonah" is an in-universe space folk song that appears in the science fiction novel Under Fortunate Stars by Ren Hutchings (Solaris, 2022). It tells the grandiose tale of the Fortunate Five, the group of human heroes who stopped an interstellar war with the alien Felen against all odds.

 

The song was created in a musical collaboration between author Ren Hutchings and singer-songwriter Mathias Kom of Canadian indie folk-rock band The Burning Hell, to accompany the release of Under Fortunate Stars.
